At Westtown Children's Academy early childhood education center, your child will be challenged and engaged with age appropriate learning activities and socialization to promote a healthy self image, develop cognitive skills and prepare them for a lifetime of learning.
We offer a range of programs for children ages 6 weeks through school-age. Whether you are looking for part-time, full-time, before and after care or just Summer Camp care we can cater to your needs.
Transportation is provided at the West Chester location for selected schools in WCASD for Kindergarten and School-Age students.
Food Program: The West Chester location offers an optional food program to all children enrolled. The food program provides breakfast, lunch and snack. The Chadds Ford location provides AM snack and PM snack at no additional cost.
Our Classrooms : Our philosophy is that children learn through play. Our classrooms are set-up into interest centers which are designed to encourage children to make independent choices and develop important social and academic skills as they play.
Classroom interest centers: Our classroom interest centers are Art and Writing, Block-Building, Dramatic Play and Manipulatives, Math, Sensory Table, Science, Computers and the Library. The centers are regularly updated to support a particular curriculum theme. As our themes change throughout the year, so will the materials that are offered in centers.Summer Camp: We offer an excellent Summer Camp program filled with In-House visitors, field trips, fun activities, and eduational activities as well. Summer camp is offered to children ages 4 years old to 7 years old.
