Education Services
At Westtown Children's Academy early childhood education center, your child will be challenged and engaged with age appropriate learning activities and socialization to promote a healthy self image, develop cognitive skills and prepare them for a lifetime of learning.
We offer a range of programs for children ages 6 weeks through school-age. Whether you are looking for part-time, full-time, before and after care or just Summer Camp care we can cater to your needs.
We are now providing transportation to schools in the West Chester Area School District for Kindergarten and School Age Children.
Our Classrooms : Our philosophy is that children learn through play. Our classrooms are set-up into interest centers which are designed to encourage children to make independent choices and develop important social and academic skills as they play.
Classroom interest centers: Our classroom interest centers are Art and Writing, Block-Building, Dramatic Play and Manipulatives, Math, Sensory Table, Science, Computers and the Library. The centers are regularly updated to support a particular curriculum theme. As our themes change throughout the year, so will the materials that are offered in centers.
Vendor Services: At Westtown Children's Academy we have outside vendors that come in an provide enrichment services to the children. Jitterbugs Music and Movement comes every second and fourth Tuesday to provide movement, fitness, dancing and singing classes for all children 1 and up. We also have ATA Karate who visits the 2nd Wednesday of every month to teach self defense, respect and obedience to the Pre-K Class.
